Floods, diseases, droughts, and bees swarming
We've got to do something about global warming
The people of the earth are living, overcrowded
Environmental destruction cannot be doubted

Children living amid disease and pollution
Poverty and starvation as the acts of execution
Waters overfished, smog and the insanity
All in the name of postmodern vanity

Let's see our leaders, the Bush administration
Actin' like they're doin' what's best for the nation
Dick Cheney sleeps with the oil thieves
Then rolls back clean air till we can't even breathe

Bush cuts family planning international
A global gag that is clearly irrational
Tax cuts for the rich, no fuel standards for motos
And like the ABM, he backs out of Kyoto

You're gettin' kinda thirsty so it's time to pick
A mug of Texas tea or a cup of arsenic
We've got Kyoto, and Bush takes no action
But the youth stand up with a powerful reaction

Climate change is destroying the ecology
Let's fight back before it's all an apology
85% of energy from fossil fuels
We got to make a change in what we're learning in schools
Focus on development that is sustainable
And never ever think that it isn't attainable
