Those of you familiar with my "test" site might be thinking that not much has changed. There's no new music and this is the only new page of text. (Of course, based on the usage logs from the old site, you probably didn't see most it anyway. So, as NBC likes to say during the summer rerun season, "If you haven't see it before, it's new to you!") There have been some changes but most of them have been technical. For instance, there's the spiffy new domain name that's much easier to type, remember and share with all of your friends. Of course, you don't really need to type or remember it if you have it bookmarked (hint, hint). Every page on this site now validates as fully compliant 4.01 HTML with validated style sheets.¹ See the cool little icons below? Also, some minor organizational changes have been made in addition to a few minor textual clean-ups.

This is the part of the introduction where I tell you that the site's still under construction and while it's not as cool as it's going to be you should keep checking back often because you don't want to miss the next stunning development. With that in mind, I want you to know that this site is still under construction. It's not as cool as it's going to be, but you should keep checking back because you don't want to miss the next awe-inspiring update.

So... what kind of updates can you expect to see? Damned if I know. Last night I came up with a long list of additions and improvements that I would like to make but I don't have a time-table. Of course, one of the things on my list was to write the first edition of The Prime Says, and here it is. We're off to an auspicious start!

I can't say what the future will bring, but I can say with certainty that this is the world wide web home of Drooling Idiots and D.I. Prime. News and information about Prime and/or the band will be posted here first. This is also the exclusive site for D.I. Prime music. When Drooling Idiots actually records something you'll be able to find that here too. (Exclusively!) Does anyone really care enough about D.I. Prime or Drooling Idiots to regularly check this site for news and music? No, probably not. I'll have to find some other way to drive up the hit count...

¹Ok, truthfully, some of these pages don't validate with the 4.01 Strict standard. 4.01 Strict totally eschews frames and causes the validator to choke on <A> tags that have the TARGET element. There are a few of those around here. However, all pages validate under 4.01 Transitional and according to the validation website, I get to use the same proof-of-validation graphic for either standard. Woo. Hoo.
